A resident of Simferopol had his Honda moped confiscated for driving while intoxicated (note how many such confiscated mopeds are already gathering dust in the impound lot — see photo above).
The court found that the man, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving a vehicle while intoxicated, began driving a Honda Tact moped in December 2023 after drinking alcohol. Moving along one of the city streets, the attacker was stopped by traffic police officials— said the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 200 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving vehicles for a period of 1 year 8 months. The Honda Tact moped that belonged to the convicted person was confiscated to the state.
