Less than a third of Russians are ready to undergo a probationary period lasting more than one month
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Avito Rabota conducted a survey of more than 7,000 working Russians and asked them questions about their readiness to undergo a probationary period. Analysts found that only 30% of Russians surveyed are ready to undergo a probationary period for a job they are interested in lasting more than one month. Of these, 13% are ready to undergo a probationary period of 1 to 2 months, 14% — up to 3 months, 2% — up to 6 months.
According to the survey, almost every fifth Russian (19%) is ready to agree to a probationary period of no longer than 1 week. The proportion of respondents (22%) who were ready to undergo a probationary period of 1 to 2 weeks was higher. 15% of Russians are willing to spend 2–4 weeks to complete the probationary period. Thus, the majority (56%) of those surveyed would like their probationary period to last 4 weeks or less. At the same time, 7% of study participants are not at all ready to undergo a probationary period: this was most often reported by workers in education and science (11%), fitness and beauty salons (10%),” noted the service’s press service.
The willingness to undergo a probationary period longer than 1 month decreases as the age of the respondents increases. Thus, 36% of Russians aged 18 to 24 are ready to agree to a probationary period longer than a month, 28% of respondents aged 45 to 54, and only 14% of respondents over 65 years old.
Most often, employees of banks and investments (44%), accounting and finance (42%), and insurance (40%) agree to a probationary period longer than 1 month.
