“Lesson in numbers”: more than 7,000 Sevastopol schoolchildren learned about testing technologies

The All-Russian educational project “Numbers Lesson” is being implemented in Sevastopol. This is a series of unusual computer science lessons that take place during the school year in all schools. Today, as part of the project, an open lesson on the topic “Testing Technologies” was held for students of grade 10-A of the Ecotech+ school.
The speaker of the lesson, Director of the Software Development Center Alexander Savin, spoke about software testing, including the stages of the process, methods and necessary skills of testers, as well as interesting professions through which you can quickly start a career in the IT field.
The “Numbers Lesson” project provides a special opportunity for schoolchildren, teachers and parents to study various professions in the IT field and gain a basic understanding of the field of information technology,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Alexander Savin.
The lesson turned out to be dynamic: schoolchildren were actively involved in the discussion, asked questions, and were interested in training opportunities not only to become testers, but also to become programmers, web developers, and other areas. You could also take part in the lesson online. In total, more than 7,000 Sevastopol schoolchildren took part in the lesson on “Testing Technologies”.
The all-Russian educational project “Lesson in Numbers” found a great response among the residents of our city: in just 20 days, the number of completions of the lesson on the topic “Testing Technologies” reached more than 7,000 times,” commented the acting director.
