“Life hack” from a Crimean: how to “donate” your foreign car to the state

In the Simferopol region, a local resident was sentenced to compulsory labor for repeated drunk driving. The court found that the defendant, having been brought to administrative responsibility for driving while intoxicated, after drinking alcohol, while in the village of Krasnaya Zorka, again got behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia car. The convict was moving towards the village of Novy Sad, where he was stopped by traffic police officers and removed from driving.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced the culprit to 180 hours of compulsory labor with deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of 2 years— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The Skoda Fabia car belonging to the defendant was confiscated to the state.
