Likbez: a new retirement procedure since 2026
Krympress reports:
Starting next year, the process of appointing an old -age insurance pension will become automatic, Senator Olga Epifanova said. This means notes Forpost/News of Sevastopolthat Russians no longer need to submit an application to receive pension payments.
As the senator explained in an interview with RIA NovostiSince 2026, the social fund of Russia will independently initiate the appointment of a pension a month before a citizen reaches retirement age.
The process will become as simple as the design of pensions for disability or loss of the breadwinner, Epifanova noted.
SFR will notify citizens in advance of the state of their personal account, the amount of the alleged pension and the possibility of deferred payments to increase the future pension.
The decision on the postponement can be issued by submitting an appropriate application.
Who can retire in 2026
In 2026, women who have reached 59 years old will receive the right to an old -age insurance pension, and men who have reached 64 years.
The necessary conditions: the availability of at least 15 years of insurance and 30 individual pension coefficients.
It should be noted that the State Duma has repeatedly raised the question of increasing the limit of pension points for working pensioners. Now this is a maximum of three points a year, while for younger Russians — ten. In February, the LDPR faction again announced the intention to introduce the corresponding bill. The same increase is provided for by the national project «Personnel».
As a fresh analysis of data in the regions of the Russian Federation showed, in Sevastopol the minimum pension, which is essentially equal to the subsistence minimum of the pensioner (PMP), — 15 thousand 556 rubles — turned out to be the maximum in the Southern Federal District. At the same time, the PMP in the Chukotsk Autonomous Okrug exceeds the Sevastopol indicator by 2.6 times and is 39 thousand 803 rubles.
