Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation apply to banks, non-bank financial institutions, state-owned companies and some other entities. If, for example, when providing services, transfer payment documents via instant messengers from list Roskomnadzor, violators faces a fine. The official will pay from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, and the company — from 100 thousand to 700 thousand rubles.
The same punishment may be imposed if these services are contrary to prohibition connect other information systems for cashless money transfers of Russians.
Recall that these legal entities cannot be applied messengers from the list when selling goods, works, services and property rights, in order to transfer also:
- personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation;
- information about non-cash money transfers;
- information for making payments;
- data on bank accounts and deposits of Russians.
Messengers banned for this include WhatsApp, Telegram, Skype and Viber.
