Liquidation of consequences of missile attack on Sevastopol – results

CrimeaPRESS reports:

During the staff meeting of the Government of Sevastopol, chaired by Mikhail Razvozhaev, the consequences of the missile attack on the city, which occurred on August 2, were discussed.

The Governor of Sevastopol once again thanked the Rescue Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Sevastopol, the Russian Guard and the UMVD of Sevastopol, including the traffic police units that cleared the traffic jams that day, for their coordinated and prompt work to eliminate the consequences of the missile attack. The head of the city also noted that all services worked efficiently and in a timely manner.

According to the Department of Public Safety, there are currently no injuries to anyone.

During the elimination of the consequences of the missile strike, two temporary accommodation points were opened: the Moryak and Moskva cinemas. On August 2, all people from the temporary accommodation points returned home. The Moryak cinema housed residents of the evacuated house on Simonok Street, 62. There were 17 people there, including one child. The Moskva cinema was open until 5 p.m., there were 15 people there, including three children, living in houses on General Ostryakov Avenue.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the public safety department, Alexey Krasnokutsky.

The attack also resulted in damage of varying degrees to five apartment buildings and six private homes.

The damage is being quickly repaired together with the city services department and management companies. I would like to commend the management company on Simonok Street, 62. From five in the morning they provided assistance in evacuating citizens and directly blocked all networks, excluding the explosion of ammunition, which allowed it to be quickly taken to the place of destruction— notes Alexey Krasnokutsky.

The 112 service and law enforcement agencies received 86 calls about falling shrapnel, unexploded ordnance and missile fragments. All calls have been processed and the fragments have been eliminated or removed.

In addition, damage to 10 vehicles was recorded.

Municipal commissions have already established contact with all applicants, and today we are promptly completing work on all applications that have been received in the 112 system.— emphasizes the director of the Department of Public Safety.

During the attack, the roof of the house on Simonok Street, 62 was damaged. At the moment, the damaged areas of the roof are covered with film to prevent water from getting inside if it rains. During the meeting, the city governor ordered that the roof be repaired promptly.

We covered the damaged areas with film — this measure will protect people from flooding in case of adverse weather conditions. At the moment, experts are conducting an examination. After we receive an expert opinion that the building is not in an emergency condition, and appropriate recommendations are given regarding the roof damage, we will begin working with the management company on the issue of restoring this area.notes Acting Deputy Governor Evgeny Gorlov.

Among other things, according to the city economy department, 15 windows were damaged as a result of the attack. At present, glazing of five windows has been completed. The rest are covered with film, and double-glazed windows have been ordered for them. During the current week, glazing will be carried out on all damaged elements.

The gas supply to General Ostryakov Avenue, which was disconnected during the liquidation of the rocket fragment, was fully restored. Utility services examined their networks, no damage was found.
