On June 21-22, the creative festival «Live in the Moment» from the Carpe Diem exhibition will be held at the Boiling Point of SevSU. This project is one of the finalists of the Theater Street Creative Workshop, implemented by the ANO Center for the Formation of Civic Culture with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. According to the organizers of the event, at the festival, everyone will be able to have a good rest, relax after busy school days, have fun and at the same time have an informative time. The program of the event includes an exhibition of works by Sevastopol and Crimean artists, a lecture-discussion, a master class in painting, art meditation, a film screening, dance and movement therapy, psychological art training, and a playback theater.
As exhibition curator Andrey Bubnov noted, the beginning of the implementation of his project and the opening of Carpe Diem took place in Sevastopol on May 20, in the Central City Library. L.N. Tolstoy. Also, the exhibition has already managed to visit the IT-Crimea Technopark, where it attracted residents and guests of the city from June 2 to 8.
We managed a lot in four weeks: on the opening day of the exposition, May 20, we held the first open lecture on contemporary art for everyone, we also organized five art mediations, a meeting with the artist and art therapy. We also took part in an inclusive master class together with the medical library — we invited our artist Nadezhda Boldina to them, and also organized a film screening at the Tom Sawyer coffee house, showing the film Dead Poets Society, in which the idea embodied in the phrase Carpe Diem, the red line runs through the whole plot— Andrey Bubnov notes.
