Long weekend in honor of International Women's Day will not

There will be no long weekend in honor of International Women’s Day in 2025. As Rostrud reported, the day off on March 8 was postponed to June 13.
According to the Decree of the Government of Russia dated October 4, 2024 No. 1335, the day off was postponed from Saturday, March 8, on Friday, June 13— quotes the department of the department RIA Novosti.
Since March 7 is a pre -holiday day, the duration of the work of citizens will be reduced by an hour.
The next shortened working week is expected in May: for May holidays in 2025, Russians will receive two weekends — from May 1 to 4 and from May 8 to 11.
In Crimea additional non -working days announced in connection with the following holidays: March 31 in connection with the celebration of Oraza-Bayram, on April 21, in connection with the celebration of the bright of Christ of the Resurrection (Easter), on June 6-in connection with the celebration of Kurban-Bayram and June 9-in connection with the celebration of the Holy Trinity Day.
