According to the authors’ definition, this is a musical in two acts in a retro style about the mysterious woman Mata Hari based on the play “Eyes of the Day” by Elena Gremina.
The play will take the viewer to Paris in 1928, Paris in 1916 and Singapore in 1905. The stage will turn into a film pavilion, where a silent black and white film about the famous and most sought-after dancer in Europe is being filmed. Historians still argue about who she really was — a dangerous spy, a clever adventurer, or an unfortunate victim of circumstances?
The premiere of the musical is scheduled for June.
