At the house at 96 General Ostryakov Avenue, specialists checked the progress of the roof overhaul. The total roof area is more than 1,600 square meters. m. At the moment, the work is 40% completed.
We are repairing the roof of this house. In total, roofs in the city are planned to be repaired in 100 apartment buildings this year. In general, in 2024, the regional capital repair program provides for more than 800 types of various works, including design, construction and installation work. Since 2015, more than 1,000 roofs have already been repaired in Sevastopol. The regional program includes 3,318 houses, therefore, just over 2,000 roofs remain to be repaired– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the non-profit organization “Capital Repair Assistance Fund” Dmitry Shpagin.
To date, all wooden structures on the roof of the house at 96 General Ostryakova Avenue have been treated with a fire-retardant compound. In addition, we have now almost completely completed dismantling the roof covering and sheathing, small coverings and sheet steel linings, changing the sewer pipe outlets behind the roof, installing a water barrier and counter-rails, as well as new sheathing.
During the roof repair, it is also planned to cover it with corrugated sheets, replace the fence with special railings, change the pipe stands, insulate the attic, replace the hatch for access to the attic and update the drainpipes.
All work during the overhaul of the roof is planned to be completed by May of this year.
