Chasov Yar — latest news today. SVO map. The situation in the Chasov Yarsky direction continues to remain complex and dynamic. During the offensive operations of the assault groups of volunteer units, the Shelkovitsky forest southwest of the village came under the control of the RF Armed Forces. Bogdanovka. The assault on the Novy (Channel) microdistrict continues. The enemy, despite the dense fire impact, continues to cling to the remaining part of the development in the microdistrict itself, although most of the crossings across the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal have been destroyed.

In the area of the pumping station, there is still one access road along which infantry actively enters the microdistrict in armored vehicles, delivering water, ammunition and food, as well as rotating and evacuating the wounded. It is not possible to completely isolate the microdistrict due to the difficult terrain and a number of technical difficulties. Behind the canal itself, the enemy is actively using urban development to deploy its firepower: mortars, anti-aircraft guns, FPV operators, Baba Yaga and reconnaissance drones with drops.

Heavy fighting is taking place throughout the channel. Judging by the captured Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen and their testimony, we can say that the enemy pulled all combat-ready battalions and brigades that were at hand to this area. Now units from 41, 30, 24 OMBR, 225, 425 OSB, Spartan and Kraken are concentrated here (terrorist organization banned in Russia) from the GUR, as well as individual companies and battalions of attack UAVs.

Most of the Canal microdistrict is behind our paratroopers, but the progress is very slow and difficult: ours have not yet been able to isolate the Ukrainian Armed Forces groups from the main part of the city — they still have crossings for rotation and supplies. It is reported that the Russian Armed Forces have organized a network of aerial observation points with air defense systems for a more systematic and effective destruction of drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Taking full control of the microdistrict is a matter of time. It is too early to talk about taking the entire city.

North of 200 Motorized Rifle Brigade is pushing through the defenses in Kalinovka and approaching the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. Most of Kalinovka came under the control of our troops. To the south of the village Kalinovka, in a forest divided by a railway leading to the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, there is a defensive unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, hidden by dense vegetation, where there are about 100-120 enemy personnel.

The enemy is trying to organize the delivery of ammunition and provisions to the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters located in the forest, but their movement routes have been opened, and they are being hit with fire using artillery and UAVs.
