Marat Khusnullin announced the completion of repairs to the road to Crimea through new regions

This year, in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, under the control of the Avtodor Group of Companies, about 200 km of the highway running along the Azov coast were repaired. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.

Large-scale work began last year in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye region — about 160 km of roads were repaired there. Another 200 km of the land route in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions were updated this year. Thus, about 360 km of the highway connecting Greater Russia with Crimea through new regions is already readyhe noted.

Marat Khusnullin added that in parallel, Avtodor Group of Companies specialists repaired seven bridges as part of the route.

In addition to the road surface, 43 stopping pavilions, more than 14 km of barrier fencing were installed, about 2 thousand road signs and more than 2 km of curb stones were installed. The slopes were also strengthened and markings were appliedsaid Vyacheslav Petushenko, chairman of the board of the state company Avtodor.

According to experts, movement along the updated highways will become comfortable both for transit transport and for the residents of these regions themselves.
