A transport ring is planned to be created around the Sea of Azov. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin in an interview for the TV channel «Soloviev Live».
Our Sea of Azov has become inland. Accordingly, the ring around the Sea of Azov is almost 1,400 km. We want to make it a four-lane expressway with approaches to the sea, just like we did the Tavrida in Crimea, there are exits from the Tavrida, and we are now closing the ring around the Sea of Azov— quotes Khusnullin TASS.
The Deputy Prime Minister explained that the development of transport infrastructure around the Sea of Azov will make it possible to develop tourism in this direction.

He emphasized that the authorities are currently considering options for creating hotel complexes and health resorts on the shores of the Azov Sea, taking into account all the necessary infrastructure for this.
