Marine Call Sign 'Duke': 'Wherever the 810th Marines left their mark of victory, we were there'
CrimeaPRESS reports:
«Where we are, there is Victory!» is the motto of the Marines. And today, fighters from the 810th Separate Guards Orders of Zhukov and Ushakov Marine Brigade, in the same formation with other units in the special operation zone, successfully carry out assigned combat missions. One of them is a Marine with the call sign «Duke».
I was born and raised in Donetsk, worked at a factory. As soon as I received Russian citizenship, I decided to join the Marine Corps and signed a contract— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the serviceman.
He has been in the zone of the special military operation «Duke» since the first day.
As for the tasks, they change depending on the units. At the very beginning, we carried out tasks to liberate populated areas as part of an airborne assault company. We were in almost all directions: in the south, in the Kherson direction, in Donetsk, near Ugledar. Wherever the 810th Marines left their victorious mark, we were– the man notes.
For his participation in the special operation, the marine was awarded the St. George Cross, 4th degree, the Medal «For Services to the Fatherland», 2nd degree with swords, and the Medal «Participant in a Special Military Operation».
Let us recall that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in a special operation: service housing or compensation for rent, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of the subjects of the Russian Federation, and others. To enroll in military service under a contract, you must prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage certificate and birth certificate of children.
The collection point in Sevastopol is located at 3a Kommunisticheskaya St., telephone: +7 (8692) 22-14-51.
