Marines of the Black Sea Fleet are suppressing attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out landings on the Dnieper islands and the left bank of the Dnieper. This is reported by Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Units of the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet in the Kherson direction of the special military operation are suppressing all attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out landings on the Dnieper islands and the left bank of the Dnieper Riverthe message says.
The enemy daily suffers losses in killed and wounded, and also loses military equipment on the right bank of the Dnieper, making unsuccessful attempts to land on the islands located at the mouth of the river.
Artillery fire and aviation weapons are destroying command posts, storage sites for weapons and armored combat vehicles of Ukrainian nationalists even at distant approaches. The enemy has no success in the directionemphasized the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In addition, marine units reveal in advance the enemy’s plans to transfer Ukrainian nationalists from the right bank of the Dnieper. Directly on the river, all high-speed boats carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel preparing to land on the islands on the left bank are destroyed.
