On the eve of the holiday — Defender of the Fatherland Day, military personnel of the Guards Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet received state awards. The soldiers showed heroism during combat missions in the Kherson direction.
The Marines were awarded high state awards — medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree with swords, as well as medals for courage, Suvorov and Zhukov. For many military personnel, this is not the first state award.— reported the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Black Sea Fleet command noted the heroic actions of the personnel of the Marine Corps unit during the performance of antilanding defense tasks on the left bank of the Dnieper. The military personnel were also congratulated on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
