16 and 17 November, Sevastopol will host tours of the Mariupol Republican Academic Order of the Badge of Honor of the Russian Drama Theatre. Artists will perform on the stage of the theater. A. V. Lunacharsky. The audience will see a comedy based on one-act joke plays by A.P. Chekhov «Vaudeville» and a musical fairy tale based on the play by V. Orlov «The Golden Chicken». The choice of the repertoire is due to the desire to give joy to the audience, as well as a small cast of the theater.
The building of our theater was completely destroyed: props, all material resources, costumes, scenery. Everyone started from scratch. The administration purchased the necessary fabrics and accessories, sewed costumes, and the actors brought someone a chair, someone a wardrobe. The Ministry of Culture of the Donetsk People’s Republic is very helpful. Tours have already taken place in three cities — Rostov, Simferopol and Yalta. The impressions are amazing, there were full houses, they are received very warmly , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the actor and director of the theater Sergei Musienko.
Tours of the Mariupol Theater are supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Rosconcert.
Recall that Rosconcert organizes events in accordance with the All-Russian tour and concert plan of the Russian Ministry of Culture. It is implemented throughout the country and includes two large-scale federal programs — «Big Tours» (tours of theaters) and «We are Russia» (tours of national groups).
