The mask regime in Crimea is now advisory in nature, then everything will depend on the epidemiological situation, said the head of the Interregional Department of Rospotrebnadzor Natalya Penkovskaya.
The decree of the Head of Crimea states that it is recommended that all citizens wear a mask in public places, including transport. Therefore, in fact, the mask regime was not canceled, it’s just that now it is advisory in nature , Penkovskaya said in a comment to the Millet TV channel.
According to her, everything will depend on the epidemiological situation, on the severity of the course of the disease, on the level of hospitalizations. The specialist also clarified that the Omicron strain of coronavirus is still circulating in Crimea.
