Mass events banned in Sevastopol – safety first
CrimeaPRESS reports:
No gatherings of more than 50 people!
Another meeting of the city operational headquarters was held in Sevastopol. Issues of holding mass events were discussed.
In the summer, Sevastopol traditionally hosts exhibitions, open-air performances, concerts, and sports competitions, which are often attended by many people. But now we have an average response level, and because attacks on the city are not uncommon, our main task is to ensure the safety of people— commented the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Operational headquarters recommends (why such a verb):
— Hold mass events outdoors with no more than 50 participants. At the same time, organizers must provide participants with the opportunity to simultaneously seek shelter in capital construction facilities in case of danger. The shelter location must be located a maximum of 2-3 minutes’ walk from the event venue.
— City events — those held by government bodies — where more than 50 people participate, should only be held subject to prior approval of security measures by the Operational Headquarters.
— If it is not possible to ensure people’s safety, then the event must be cancelled.
This is a necessary measure, but, I repeat, the main task is to ensure that everyone is under reliable protection.— noted Razvozzhaev.
And yet it is not clear… recommendations what is the legal status?
