MDC «Artek» and VDNKh connected by teleconference

A traditional live broadcast dedicated to the start of the 13th shift took place in the official community of the Artek Medical Center VKontakte. Its participants were the director of Artek, Konstantin Fedorenko, and employees of the International Children’s Center, and in the format of a teleconference, Artek residents who were at the site of the children’s center at the exhibition-forum «Russia» joined the broadcast.
Artek’s live broadcasts are traditional. The guest of the broadcast, timed to coincide with the start of the 13th shift, was Artek director Konstantin Fedorenko. He spoke about how the children’s center was preparing for its centenary and encouraged everyone to take part in competitions and promotions dedicated to this event.
In the format of a teleconference, Artek contacted the site of the International Children’s Center at VDNKh. Employees, Artek residents and adults whose lives are connected with the Land of Childhood gathered there. A real Artek atmosphere has been created in Moscow. Adults and children danced the traditional “Kolomiyka” together and said hello to the Artek residents of the 13th shift.
This time, the guest of the Artek studio was Grigory Khodykin, a paramedic at the emergency medical center of the Artek Medical Center. He spoke about medical support during the race, as well as the activities of specialized medical teams. Children’s center counselor Artem Aslanyan also shared his story with the audience.
At the end of the broadcast, the head of the shift program, Yuri Kravchenko, spoke to the audience. He talked about the theme of the 13th shift and what the children will learn in 21 days.
