MDC «Artek» in 2024 accepted 40.2 thousand children on preferential guidance

The presentation also indicates that in total, 68.4 thousand children in 2024 rested on preferential tickets in Crimea. In particular, the Zaporizhzhya region was accepted by 3.9 thousand people, about 1.1 thousand from the Kherson, from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics — 3.2 thousand and 3.3 thousand children, respectively. Also, more than 17 thousand children came from the Belgorod region and 1.2 thousand — from Orenburg. Among the children from the Republic of Crimea itself, more than 27.5 thousand people rested on preferential tickets. About 10.8 thousand children came from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Lavrik clarified that the Republic of Crimea pays for the presence in the health camps of students belonging to one of the 19 preferential categories.

These are children of military personnel, children affected by aggression of Ukraine who received injuries. These are children whose parents died from accidents in production and in the performance of official duties— she said.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea reported that in 2023, more than 55 thousand children rested on preferential tickets in Crimea in Crimea.
