Medical institutions in Crimea continue to provide medical care to residents of new regions

The Ministry of Health of Crimea signed an agreement with the Ministry of Health of the Kherson region on organizing the provision of primary health care, specialized, including high-tech, medical care to residents of the new region within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance system (with the exception of high-tech medical care not included in the basic compulsory medical insurance program).
If the medical organization in the Kherson region does not have the necessary equipment or specialist for diagnosis or treatment, the patient is sent to other medical institutions, including those located in the Crimea. Planned medical care is provided upon the direction of the attending physician and by appointment, emergency care is provided without delay.said the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Konstantin Skorupsky.
Assistance to residents of new regions on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, as well as to Crimeans, is provided free of charge. As noted in the Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the Kherson Region, funds for the treatment of local residents will be allocated from the Territorial Fund of the Kherson Region.
