The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a working meeting with the head of the Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Major General of the Internal Service Vadim Bulgakov.

During the event, issues of interaction in terms of placing orders at the production facilities of penitentiary institutions of the republic were discussed.

As Sergei Aksyonov noted, the republic’s authorities continue to effectively interact with the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, placing orders in correctional institutions for work and production of metal, wood and clothing products.

In turn, Vadim Bulgakov spoke about the achieved results of the Department’s production activities this year. In subordinate institutions, constant work is being done to search for orders and increase production volumes to attract the maximum number of convicts to paid work, while all manufactured products meet the requirements of regulatory and technical documentation as much as possible.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Svetlana Maslova, Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Arsen Mirzoyan.
