Meeting of the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev. What were they talking about?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today in Moscow Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev met with Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko. At the beginning of the meeting, the governor of Sevastopol reported on the current situation in the Hero City.
In general, everything is quite calm, taking into account all the circumstances and difficulties that time imposes and taking into account logistical difficulties. For the first half of the year the budget is executed. At a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, they adopted a report on the first quarter and at a meeting of the Government considered a report on the first half of the year, we are going even with a slight increase. That is, the groundwork that was made earlier now makes it possible to steadily pass this period.— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The Governor of Sevastopol noted that the city is working on the proposals that were included in the Decree of the Federation Council «On state support for the socio-economic development of the federal city of Sevastopol» (recall, it was adopted following the Days of Sevastopol, which were held in the Federation Council last year ). The governor also noted the great role played by the promptly adopted federal measures to support the tourism industry. The head of the city also spoke about the regional measures taken to support the tourism sector, which directly relate to small and medium-sized businesses — restaurants, cafes, mini-hotels.
If federal support is needed, we will support. It is necessary to give an opportunity for companies to survive, survive and not go bankrupt— said Valentina Matvienko.
The governor reported to Valentina Matvienko about one of the ideas — to make a special program that will allow the participants of the NWO to have a rest in the sanatoriums of Sevastopol and the Crimea. The Chairman of the Federation Council expressed her readiness to support this initiative at the federal level. The head of the Federation Council also noted the attentive attitude of the city leadership to citizens’ appeals and to solving their problems.
You know that we will win, there are no doubts, no one will ever allow any kind of attack on the Crimea and Sevastopol. Therefore, in order for people to feel confident, they were engaged in agriculture, industrial and social development. I know that you, as a governor, are very attentive to people’s appeals, you see how it is necessary to work in these difficult conditions — there is no panic in Sevastopol, the authorities calmly and confidently make the decisions that are needed for this— says Valentina Matvienko.
The parties also discussed the prospects for the socio-economic development of the region and issues requiring decisions at the federal level.
