The chief doctors of city hospitals No. 1, 4, 5 and 9, as well as the dental clinic and oncology clinic, held the first public meetings with Sevastopol residents this year. The heads of medical institutions told those present about the availability of primary health care in institutions, the possibility of undergoing medical rehabilitation and medical examination, and also reported on the work already done since the beginning of the year.
We decided to hold these meetings in order to establish communication with patients who are assigned to the medical institution. Residents of the city, in turn, were able to receive consultations, some asked how to make an appointment with a doctor, others were interested in how to get discounted medications, referrals for rehabilitation and certain types of tests. The chief doctors gave an answer to everyone.
I believe that such meetings are very important. This is where you can ask the specialists all your questions and get answers right away. Personally, they told me in detail about the medical examination and gave me the necessary recommendations. I advise all residents to come and take part in such meetings.says Sevastopol resident Irina Kuznetsova.
During the meeting, we also separately focused on the issue of attracting new specialists to work in clinics. Sevastopol residents were clearly shown what programs for this purpose are in place in the city. The chief doctors noted that first of all they are waiting for graduates of medical universities who complete their studies under a targeted agreement.
In total, more than 60 people attended the meetings today.
