Megafon complied with the FAS order — canceled surcharges in Crimea and Sevastopol

The company will cancel roaming no later than February 28, 2025. FAS Russia considered the implementation period to be technically determined— said the service.

During the stay of subscribers in the territory of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, minutes, SMS and gigabytes will be spent from the package or paid according to the standard terms of the tariff plan.

Previously, a similar order was fulfilled by the mobile operator T2 Mobile. PJSC VimpelCom (Beeline brand) announced the voluntary abolition of markups and bringing tariffs to the level of the home region from January 1, 2025.

The department continues to work to gradually bring tariffs for communication services when traveling around Russia to the level of the home region.
