«Meganom»: representatives of Crimean schools learned a creative approach to education

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On March 4, the “Creativity in School: New Horizons” program ended at the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries (Tavrida art cluster, project of Rosmolodezh). In the process, the participants developed new concepts of educational events for schools in the Republic of Crimea.

At the “Creativity in School: New Horizons” program, more than 170 school principals, their deputies and educational advisers were introduced to a creative approach to the development of the school environment. As a result, they prepared 30 concepts of educational events for educational organizations of the Republic of Crimea.

Concepts for seven events, created in mixed teams, were aimed at development and recommended for implementation. This is a quest tour through the streets of Crimea, a scientific quest around the school using QR codes, a memory garden, a literary and geographical map and photo exhibitions. The events are dedicated to current topics: the 10th anniversary of the Crimean Spring, the Year of the Family, the anniversary of Alexander Pushkin, great cultural and artistic figures, a special military operation.

Representatives of 65 educational institutions from 13 municipalities of the Republic of Crimea came to get acquainted with a creative approach to the development of schools: Alushta, Armyansk, Dzhankoy, Yevpatoria, Kerch, Krasnoperekopsk, Sak, Simferopol, Sudak, Feodosia, Yalta, as well as the Bakhchisarai and Black Sea regions.

Over the course of five days, under the guidance of leading federal experts in the field of education and upbringing, school management teams developed a new vision of the educational space, creative interaction with the parent community and public associations. They examined the educational significance of the educational environment, analyzed the principles and stages of building “schools of the future”, assessed the strengths and weaknesses of educational work in their educational institutions, and also formed a pool of ideas for qualitative changes.

One of the key events was the visit of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea, Valentina Lavrik. She noted that this format of training and interaction is not only a great opportunity to improve the professional skills of teachers in the Republic of Crimea, but also a chance to take a fresh look at current problems and find solutions to the challenges that the education sector faces today.

Teachers are the elite, and therefore we want them to respond as quickly as possible to the challenges posed by society, geopolitical events and time. A teacher must be on the crest of the wave in order to know how to educate, what to teach children and, of course, how to form traditional Russian values in every child. Certain conditions must be created for the formation of such a worldview. The program provides reference points that will help participants who come to the site to see at your school, at your team, at your children with a new look. Of course, developing children’s talents is very important for a person to succeed in life. And the age with which the heads of educational organizations work is significant for each person to find himself later in life and was happy, — said Valentina Lavrik.

The second stream of the program for directors of educational institutions, their deputies and advisors on educational work “Creativity in School: New Horizons” will take place from March 29 to April 1, and the final one will take place from April 3 to 6.
