Today, the guys who are at the front have the opportunity to communicate with children. Once upon a time, our grandparents, participants in the Great Patriotic War, passed on their knowledge to us, told us about those events, about how difficult it was. Today, the military is also defending the Motherland. Understanding that our country is great, children receive, among other things, within the framework of such meetings. Joint work with Artek on patriotic education has already become traditional. We are grateful to the management and staff of the children’s center— said Vladimir Terentyev, Head of the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The NWO participants who met with the children came to Artek for the first time.
It was nice to talk with the Artek people. Such communication inspires new feats. Guys — this is a worthy future of our Motherland. The children were interested, we saw a response, feedback. Impressions from «Artek» are wonderful, it is very important that patriotic education is implemented here. The kids here are happy and friendly.— shared the Cavalier of the Order of Courage Ilya Podoroga.
From early childhood I dreamed of visiting Artek, today the dream has come true. This is the best place for kids to relax. The support of children is very important for us, this is our future, what Russia will be like depends on them. We must take care of the younger generation, instill in them patriotism— said the Hero of Russia Oleg Pivovarov.
The NWO participants told the children about their lives, why they decided to become a military man, how long it took them to get there. Both guests have been friends for many years and often helped each other out in difficult situations. From the first days they take part in a special military operation. The participants of the meeting shared stories from their service with the children, spoke about their current activities, about the heroism of the Russian military, and also answered questions from Artek residents.
The children were interested to learn about the childhood of the guests, what the defense of the Motherland means to them, about hobbies and much more. The meeting participants talked about love for Russia and what patriotism is. The servicemen showed the Artek team weapons and photographs from the front line.
