Metropolitan Simferopol and Crimean Tikhon celebrates his birthday

The ascetic works of the Lord are aimed at developing church life, strengthening faith in the hearts of people, preserving in society of traditional spiritual and moral values.

Important projects in education, charity, and social ministry are being implemented. The revival of the ancient Crimean shrines, the construction of new temples continues. Much is being done to expand the cooperation of the state and the church, the harmonization of interethnic and interfaith relations.

I want to say special words of the gratitude to the Lord for constant attention to issues related to the preservation of priceless historical and cultural heritage.
