As part of the implementation of the regional project «Modern School» of the national project «Education», MBOU «Mezhvodnenskaya Secondary School named after Andrey Nikolayevich Gaidukov» was included in the list of schools, on the basis of which the Center for Education of Natural Science and Technology «Point of Growth» will be opened in 2023.
At present, the repair of premises for physical, chemical and biological laboratories is being completed, in which modern equipment will be supplied, with the use of which children will be able to master basic educational programs in specialized subjects, as well as additional programs in the natural sciences. New doors and window blocks were installed in the classrooms, new electrical wiring was installed, the wall surfaces were leveled, plastered and painted. Renovation of the premises is carried out in a single approved style according to the brand book for the organization of the study space, the selection of furniture, equipment and materials for interior decoration. Special thematic equipment will be supplied to the classrooms of the «Point of Growth» in the near future. Printers, scanners, laptops, projectors, digital laboratories, etc. will be installed for training. The updated educational space will create conditions for obtaining a quality education for students and form modern technological skills— noted in Main Department for the implementation of national projects (regional project office).
At the moment, the teaching staff is making final changes to the work programs in chemistry, physics, biology, because the material and technical conditions will be completely different, the opportunities for practical activities will increase, and taking into account all this, teachers are finalizing work programs in subjects.
Teachers who plan to work at the Education Center take refresher courses and are ready to work with digital educational content. As a result of training, teachers will develop professional competencies that are necessary for organizing the project and creative activities of children using digital platforms and services.
The creation of science and technology education centers significantly expands the opportunities for providing quality education to students, and also provides an opportunity for children to receive general education in conditions that meet modern requirements, regardless of their place of residence.
