In Kerch, a court issued a verdict in a criminal case against two residents of other regions. They were found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery).
The court established that two men who came from other regions of the Russian Federation to the city of Kerch in order to earn money met a local resident. During a verbal conflict that arose while drinking alcohol in the apartment of a local resident, the men struck the latter at least 3 times in various parts of the body, after which one of the defendants put a knife to his throat, and the second began to demand a phone and money from the owner of the house, as well as his friends, who heard the noise and ran into the kitchen. In total, the attackers stole more than 20 thousand rubles from three victims— said the prosecutor’s office.
The Kerch court sentenced the “city guests” men to 1 year and 5 months of imprisonment each, to be served in a general regime correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
