Mikhail Razvozhaev congratulated the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland on its two-year anniversary

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On November 17, the Sevastopol Children’s Art School hosted a forum “Shoulder to Shoulder to Our Own,” dedicated to the second anniversary of the founding of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland. The participants were congratulated by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Committees appeared in 2022 in 89 regions of Russia after a meeting of wives and mothers of military personnel with President Vladimir Putin. The Sevastopol active team includes two dozen people under the leadership of Victoria Tupchanenko. During the work of the regional headquarters, its participants were able to create a strong platform to support the families of our soldiers. The headquarters provides psychological and legal assistance, collects humanitarian supplies for soldiers, perpetuates the memory of the dead, pays a lot of attention to patriotic education, and organizes photo projects.

I am filled with a feeling of pride for you. Our soldiers defend their Motherland, and you support them with all your heart. The Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland is one big good family, where everyone supports each other, gives everything they can: time, strength, emotions, feelings. And this daily work, this common energy is perhaps one of the most important contributions to our Victory. Thank you on behalf of all Sevastopol residents— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the city.

Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev expressed gratitude to everyone who helps the families of soldiers.

You helped hundreds of people in Sevastopol. A low bow for your sensitivity, concern, compassion, kind, open hearts, for your unique gift of helping them. These two years have brought serious challenges for all of us, especially for our defenders and their loved ones. But I am absolutely sure: by uniting, we will overcome all difficulties and, of course, win— the speaker of the Legislative Assembly addressed the meeting participants.

The governor presented letters of gratitude to the activists, and over tea he discussed with them the most pressing issues for military families. One of the most important is the allocation of land.

Let me remind you that Sevastopol is one of the few regions where this support measure applies. To date, 549 people have received plots, another 148 chose to receive a payment of a million rubles instead of land. Regarding payments of a million rubles: we will definitely continue this practice, next year we will set aside about 400 million rubles for these purposes, and the formation of plots also continues. I continue to keep the issues of land provision and payments under personal control,” Mikhail Razvozhaev emphasized.

As part of the “Shoulder to Shoulder to Your Own” forum, a photo exhibition “The Hero’s Family” was launched at the Sevastopol Children’s Art School; master classes for children and legal consultations for adults were organized.

For active social activities, personal contribution to organizing assistance to participants of a special military operation and members of their families, development and support of volunteerism in the city of Sevastopol and in connection with the anniversary of the creation of the autonomous non-profit organization “Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland of the City of Sevastopol” with a letter of gratitude from the Governor the cities of Sevastopol are encouraged:
