If you are a resident of Sevastopol, then the words of Vice Admiral Vladimir Alekseevich Kornilov “Defend Sevastopol!” and Admiral Pavel Stepanovich Nakhimov “Everyone’s life belongs to the Fatherland” is not just a quote from textbooks for you. This is the very essence of the city and its inhabitants.

Sevastopol is a city of brave men who stood up for its defense in February 2014, and caring women who created a reliable rear for them. And this desire to help each other manifested itself not only during the Russian Spring — now, during a special military operation, many citizens are helping the front, our soldiers and people who live in the liberated territories. Because Sevastopol residents, like no one else, know how to support in difficult times.

To be a Sevastopol resident means to have a special Black Sea character, a special heart. The residents of Sevastopol have learned to live under the sound of an air raid raid and not give up, knowing that Russia’s victory is close. Sevastopol residents sing the anthem of their hometown while in shelters. Sevastopol residents are Russians who never give up.
