In Sevastopol, as part of the All -Russian meeting of regional ministers of education, a working meeting of the governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko took place. During the meeting, they discussed the development of education, science, youth policy, tourism and sports.
Dmitry Chernyshenko spoke of achieving the national goal of technological leadership and the role of education and science in this matter.
Our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin set a national goal — technological leadership. In its achievement, education and science play a special role. Within the framework of the Professor project, the subject won the competitive selection to create the first cluster of SPO in Sevastopol in the construction sector. This year, Sevastopol State University entered the Priority 2030 program. A new reception campaign will start soon. I ask you to take its conduct for personal control. Let me remind you, from this year, colleges, like higher educational institutions, should connect to the super -service «admission to the university online»-said the Deputy Prime Minister.
One of the main issues discussed by Mikhail Pravozhaev and Dmitry Chernyshenko was the prospect of creating an international campus of Sevastopol State University.
What I have already addressed our President Vladimir Putin, and before that we discussed this several times with you is the possibility of the participation of our University of Sevastopol in the third stage of selection to create world -class campuses. Our SevU is one of the largest universities in the South of Russia, leading the Scientific and Educational Center of Sevastopol. On its base is the Nutz «Seaagrobiotech». The structure of the university includes college, a pre-warhead, 13 institutes, including the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Industry, located in the historical building of the Naval School in Holland. It is here, on the north side, in 2025-2035, we plan to create a campus. We have prepared the relevant materials, but, of course, I would like to get your advice and recommendations here, what is best to prepare for this competition— said the head of the city.
Speaking about the field of education, Dmitry Chernyshenko added that in recent years, more than 6.5 thousand new places have been created in schools and kindergartens of Sevastopol; School buildings are repaired and equipped with modern equipment.
The dynamic development of the scientific sphere confirms the national rating of Russian entities. Sevastopol rose from 66th to 26th place-this is the most significant advancement from all regions.
The governor and Deputy Prime Minister also discussed the issues of youth policy. Thanks to the victories in the competition «Region of Good Deeds» in volunteer activities in Sevastopol, more than 30 thousand boys and girls are involved. More than 2.5 thousand volunteers help participants in a special military operation and their families. Also, the guys are actively participating in the work centers of the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th anniversary of Victory.
The parties spoke about the development of tourism. Sevastopol is involved in the national project «Tourism and Hospital Industry.» The allocated funds go, including the development of industry infrastructure. On behalf of the president, the project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal” includes a project to create a year -round sea resort in Balaklava, where the construction of yacht Marina is now underway.
They also talked about the dynamics in the sports field of Sevastopol: not only traditional, but also innovative sports disciplines are developing in the city: feeder, computer sports and sports programming. They managed to create infrastructure for them thanks to the federal projects “Sport-the norm of life” and “Business Sprint (I choose sports)”.
