Mikhail Razvozhaev: “Only Sevastopol residents work at the Sevastopol stand at the Russia Exhibition”

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev added that the exhibition has created an environment that allows for learning and sharing experiences.

The Russia exhibition is a unique platform where people not only learn about the great country and the achievements of the region. This is a platform where we constantly exchange experiences with colleagues. I decided that we will not specifically select people who live in the capital, give any instructions, teach, or tell something about Sevastopol. And we, the residents of Sevastopol, will present our city and talk about our achievements. And at the Exhibition they see all the wealth of our country, how problems are solved in other regions, incredible projects are created. And this gives an amazing synergistic effect for culture, for the social sphere, and, of course, for the economy. Therefore, for me, the Exhibition is a huge school for our teamnotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

During the session, upcoming events this summer that will be attractive to tourists were also announced. The governor of Sevastopol immediately noted that the city was about to open a large-scale historical and archaeological complex “New Chersonesos”. This is a project that is being implemented on behalf of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

The discovery of Chersonesus is a world-class event. I’m talking about this completely without false modesty. Firstly, such archaeological expeditions have never taken place either in the Soviet Union or in the world. Probably, this can be comparable to the excavations of Troy, only they dug there for several decades, and in our country all this was done in two years thanks to our Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol archaeologistsemphasizes the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.

Natalya Virtuozova said that after the exhibition closes, her story will not end. The exhibition at VDNKh was organized literally by the entire country, and the regions put a lot of work into it. Therefore, it was decided to preserve the legacy of the exhibition and create a national center “Russia”.
