Mikhail Razvozhaev presented awards in honor of the 10th anniversary of the return of the Hero City to Russia
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On March 18, Sevastopol will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the city’s return to Russia. On the eve of the anniversary, at the public support headquarters, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev presented commemorative medals “In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the return of Sevastopol to Russia” to participants in the events of the Russian Spring — members of self-defense units, checkpoints, and members of public organizations.
Today we thank everyone who showed perseverance and courage during the events of the Russian Spring: self-defense, checkpoint workers, members of public organizations — everyone who showed true courage and stood up for the defense of Sevastopol in 2014. Many men who stood at checkpoints at that time are now defending Russia on the fronts of a special military operation. Sevastopol residents are true patriots of our country,” the governor addressed the meeting participants.
The head of the city also presented letters of gratitude to Sevastopol residents who took part in the development of sketches of the medal: schoolchildren, finalists and the winner of the competition.
It is wonderful that our guys, our younger generation, have shown activity and genuine interest in studying historical events, the most important events of our Motherland. The children showed their vision, their understanding, their feelings associated with the Russian Spring. This commands great respectsays Mikhail Razvozhaev.

On the reverse, the author placed the symbol of the Hero City, a monument to the Sunken Ships. Around the circle is a quote from the President: “Sevastopol is the patriotic capital of Russia.”
