Mikhail Razvozhaev: “The main document of the country is 30 years old this year!”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Dear residents of Sevastopol!
On December 12, Russia celebrates Constitution Day.
The main document of the country is 30 years old this year!
A person, his rights and freedoms are the main democratic values of the basic law of our state. Thanks to faith in these principles, in 2014 the residents of Sevastopol and Crimea forever included the peninsula in the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
Six years later, Sevastopol residents took part in another historical event — a vote on constitutional amendments. Then, in the summer of 2020, the course of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin was supported by 84% of the city’s residents. Amendments to the Constitution established a ban on the alienation of territories. Today we, like no one else, understand how important this step was: no one will be able to encroach on our Sevastopol.
Our Constitution is also the answer to the question of what Russia is, why we have our own path and what values we will always defend. Now we can firmly say that being Russian sounds proud! We preserve the memory of the heroic past and are confident in the future. And most importantly, we are united!
Happy holiday, dear residents of Sevastopol!
Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev
