Milyutinsky Park in Alupka will receive a grant for improvement — and this is millions of rubles

The amount of the grant for the improvement of the Milyutinsky Park in Alupka will be 72 million rubles, the implementation of the entire project will amount to more than 200 million and implies other sources of funding, the Sovetskaya Square was similarly landscaped.

The coveted winning prize was presented to the head of administration by the Minister of Construction of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin as part of the forum «Small Towns: Support of a Big Country», which was held in Vladivostok. At the forum, Yanina Pavlenko, on behalf of the Head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, represented Yalta. She also took part as a speaker in the panel discussion “Urban Environment. How to make improvement projects necessary?”, where she presented the implemented project for the improvement of Sovetskaya Square.

With colleagues from Yakutia, Leningrad, Tula, Krasnoyarsk regions, they touched on the most important topic: how to make the territories necessary for people during the improvement. She was pleased to tell how our Sovetskaya Square turned from a gray walk-through space into a point of attraction for citizens and tourists. It was nice to hear the opinion of the moderator, the head of the Design Directorate of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, Jemal Surmanidze, that this is the only public area in Russia that has completely changed its purpose— notes the head of the administration of Yalta. — I thank the leadership of the country for their attention to small towns, the Ministry of Construction of Russia for their support, the Head of the Republic Sergey Valeryevich Aksyonov and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Yuri Mikhailovich Gotsanyuk for all the positive changes in the region, the team of the Crimean Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, the administration of Yalta and the M4 design bureau for working on the concept of Milyutinsky Park, and all Alupka residents for their active life position.
