Mini-football tournament dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Russia was held in Sevastopol

On the eve of the celebration of the Day of Russia, the City Prosecutor’s Office, with the support of the Government of Sevastopol, organized a mini-football tournament dedicated to the most important and significant holiday in the Russian Federation.
Competitions were held between the teams of the Prosecutor’s Office of Sevastopol, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Black Sea Fleet, the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for the city of Sevastopol, the Sevastopol City Court, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, the Main Department of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief for the city of Sevastopol and the Government of Sevastopol.
It’s great that such an interdepartmental physical culture and sports festival took place this weekend. I am sure that everyone got the maximum pleasure from the football matches held on the territory of the sports and recreation complex named after the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol, as well as a boost of energy for further victories on their professional front. Undoubtedly, holding a tournament in this format will become traditional from this year.— said the head of the department of youth and sports Sergey Reznichenko.
The tournament took place last Saturday. To the sounds of the anthem of the Russian Federation performed by the military brass band of the Black Sea Fleet, a solemn ceremony of raising the flag was held. The competition consisted of three rounds of the group stage, two semi-final games, a match for third place and the final game.
In a tense struggle, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol won, the second place was taken by the team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, the third and fourth places were awarded to the teams of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Government of the city.
In addition, three nominations were played. The best goalkeeper of the tournament was the player of the team of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Sevastopol Nikolai Shatalov, the best defender of the tournament was the player of the team of the Government of Sevastopol Igor Mikheev, the best forward of the tournament, who scored seven goals against opponents, was the player of the team of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol Alexander Stavitsky, the title of the best player of the tournament was received by the player of the team of the Prosecutor’s Office of Sevastopol Taras Rybak.
In addition to the competitions themselves, additional activities were organized for spectators. During the competition, fans of all ages were given the opportunity to pass the TRP standards, and the audience could also show their artistic talents in drawing master classes.
