Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea: sales of tickets for summer trains to Crimea are available 90 days in advance

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Tickets are available for all Tavria trains.

This year, unlike 2023, ticket sales begin 90 days in advance and are already open for summer trains. Tickets are available for all Tavria trains; after the schedule is adjusted, tickets from Crimea to St. Petersburg and back will also go on sale on certain dates. This was discussed at an online meeting of the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea with the carrier company “Grand Service Express”.

The meeting was devoted to preparations for the high holiday season, problematic issues were worked out and interactions were determined for the 2024 season. These included pricing policy, expanding the network of destinations, increasing the number of rolling stock, daily trains, connecting late train flights with bus routes to resort towns and the joint integration of a loyalty program «Hospitable Crimea».

The long-awaited return of the depth of railway ticket sales to 90 days is a very important measure on the eve of the high holiday season for planning holidays for our guests and for business operations. Holiday bookings by Russians on the Crimean coast currently significantly exceed the volumes of last year, and the depth of bookings has also increased. Today, holiday bookings to Crimea reach September. Therefore, synchronizing them with the purchase of tickets will help build acceptable logistics for those traveling to Crimea by trainsaid the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.

As Alexander Ganov, General Director of JSC TK Grand Service Express, noted, this year more daily trains from Moscow have been launched, both year-round and seasonal. In particular, the Moscow-Evpatoria train became daily. This year it leaves Paveletsky Station and passes through a larger number of settlements in Central Russia. New comfortable compartment cars with showers manufactured in 2023 were launched, which are included in the new daily trains 18/17 and No. 68/67 “Moscow – Simferopol”.

In addition, traveling with children has become more accessible — from June 1 to August 31, children aged 10 to 17 years (inclusive) when traveling in reserved seat carriages are given a 50% discount, which is taken into account automatically when purchasing tickets.

On the eve of the high holiday season on Tavria trains for passengers at the entrance to Crimea, we are working on the launch of an audio guide broadcasting interesting facts about the Republic. The project is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Crimean Spring and will be implemented within the framework of the republican program “Hospitable Crimea” by the carrier company and the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea. Also, for the 10th anniversary, branded carriages will go to Crimea.

It is planned to jointly integrate the republican loyalty program “Hospitable Crimea” on Tavria trains — expanded broadcast of the resort video channel, informing passengers about the possibilities of the program, a Hotline for tourists, about the new Tourist Information Center at the railway station in Simferopol, about ongoing excursions around the railway station in Simferopol while waiting for a flight, etc.
