Mobile shelters installed in parks and bus stops in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
91 shelters have been installed: 51 at bus stops and 40 in parks and squares, the statement quotes the director of the public safety department, Alexei Krasnokutsky, as saying.
It is noted that Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed his subordinates to work out the issue of the availability of shelter in the very center of the city — on Nakhimov Street.
It is necessary to provide additional signs to the permanent shelter of the Sea Port on Nakhimov Square, and during an alarm signal, organize the work of an employee who, if necessary, will offer people to go to the permanent shelterthe press service quotes him as saying.
A contractor has also been found and the manufacture of boom shelters has begun, which will be used to block Balaklava Bay. Earlier, Razvozhaev reportedthat this harbor in the southwest of the city is the only one that is not fenced off from free entry and exit. It is planned that at night, Balaklava Bay will be closed for entry.
The measures concerning shelters and the closure of Balaklava Bay were taken after Ukraine on June 23 committed an attack on the civilian infrastructure of Sevastopol with ATACMS tactical missiles equipped with cluster warheads.
