Modernization of sanatoriums of the Crimean Ministry of Health in Yevpatoria is not far off
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the near future, the issue of the possibility of modernizing the sanatorium-and-spa institutions of the Crimean Ministry of Health, located in Evpatoria, will be worked out. This became known during a working trip to the region of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky and his deputy Alexei Yakovenko.
The leaders visited the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Clinical Sanatorium for Children and Children with Parents “Zdravnitsa” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Sanatorium for Children and Children with Parents” Orlyonok”. We inspected the bed capacity and accommodation conditions for patients, classrooms for training sessions, canteens, medical buildings, and also walked around the territory of sanatoriums, including the beach.
According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky, all health resorts of the Crimean Ministry of Health work year-round and accept children not only from Crimea, but also from other regions of the country for treatment.
Following the results of the working trip, a meeting was held on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution of Healthcare of the Republic of Crimea «Scientific Research Institute of Children’s Balneology, Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation», at which the need for modernization of existing sanatoriums was noted.
Serious diagnostic and treatment facilities have been created in the sanatoriums, which have great potential. Qualified specialists work, including researchers, who continue their professional development in the field of balneology. However, the development of children’s health resorts is impossible without strengthening their material and technical base , — said Konstantin Skorupsky.
It was decided to consider in the near future the proposals of the chief physicians on the modernization of the sanatorium-resort institutions headed by them. Financing for the work is planned to be requested from the federal center, and the possibility of attracting private investors is also being considered.
In addition, an analysis will be made of the number of children living in the Crimea and in need of rehabilitation after illnesses. This is necessary in order to revise the amount of beds in children’s sanatoriums in the Republic.
