A Moldovan citizen born in 1992, previously convicted of committing theft in Ukraine, was detained in Kerch. In April 2024, he contacted a representative of the Ukrainian special services via the Internet, on whose instructions he collected and transmitted information, including photo and video materials of the locations of military equipment and air defense positions of the Russian Armed Forces, transport and energy infrastructure facilities in Crimea, as well as the results of enemy missile strikes. During interrogation, he reported a cache of a 400 g high-explosive improvised explosive device for blowing up a water pumping station supplying water to Kerch.
A resident of Sevastopol, born in 1973, was also detained; he provided Ukrainian special services with information about the location of military facilities on the peninsula, the residential addresses of high-ranking military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, and the vehicles they used.
