Monograph by KFU scientists is on the long list of the public award “Economic Book of the Year – 2023”

The monograph of the scientific team of the Institute of Economics and Management of the Crimean Federal University was included in the top 15 best publications of the public award “Economic Book of the Year — 2023”. This was reported by the head of the Department of World Economy at the Institute of Economics and Management of the Crimean Federal University, Marina Nikitina.

The monograph was prepared as part of the project “Development of a conceptual model of an ecosystem for creative spatial development of the region” of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030”.

The monograph “Mechanisms for forming a model of creative spatial development of the economy of the Republic of Crimea” is unique because for the first time in many years the institute managed to unite all scientific efforts to carry out a single research work. It is of particular importance to us and has a distinctive quality — focus on the needs of the region. The monograph managed to reflect not only theoretical and methodological developments and assessment methods, but also to offer specific implementation tools in regional policy for the development of the creative economy of Crimea. This is, first of all, the use of the creative abilities of our citizens so that each of us can realize ourselves and gain satisfaction from our region. For a region like Crimea, which is experiencing certain difficulties, it is important that people living here feel comfortable. It seems to me that this is why our collective work was so highly appreciated at the federal level– the press service of the university quotes the executive editor of the monograph, Marina Nikitina.

The author’s team of the monograph consisted of more than 20 teachers from the Institute of Economics and Management of the Crimean Federal University.

In total, 275 books were submitted for the award this year, including monographs, textbooks, popular science publications, and manuals published over the past year.
