More rain and possibly sleet. Storm warning announced in Crimea

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a storm warning about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in Crimea for October 16-17.
According to the Crimean Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, on October 16 and at night on October 17, rains, very heavy in places, thunderstorms, and increased northeast winds of 15-20 m/s are expected in Crimea. On the rivers of Crimea, water levels are expected to rise by 0.5-1.0 m, without reaching dangerous levelsthe message says.
Let us note that weather forecasters predict that the first snow will fall in the Crimean mountains on these days.
Rescuers recommend in this weather:
- exclude access to mountainous forest areas;
- do not go to embankments and bank protection structures;
- pay attention to the condition of drainage systems and drainage channels;
- limit your stay in close proximity to river beds;
- Those living in close proximity to bodies of water should take measures to protect their property.
In case of emergency, you must call 101 and 112.
