More than 1,000 artists dressed in the colors of the Russian tricolor at the Tavrida.ART Festival

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On August 19, the carnival art procession in the colors of the Russian flag at the Tavrida.ART Festival of Young Art was attended by more than 1,000 caring creative people who continue the traditions of their homeland and create new opportunities for a quality life.

For five years, the art procession has united participants, partners, guests and spectators of Tavrida — everyone who expresses themselves through creativity, creates memorable visual images, musical, vocal and dance projects, develops creative industries and works for the good of the country and art.

In the anniversary year of the Tavrida.ART Festival, the carnival was filled with special meaning: 3 festive floats and 11 decorative compositions were made in the colors of the Russian tricolor. The palette of white, blue and red is reflected in the costumes of the participants themselves. The festive column embodied the multifaceted images and cultural features of Russia — the whole flavor of the vast country from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka. In the colors of the tricolor, participants and spectators of the festival saw a cornflower field, polar bears, the Kremlin star and other recognizable symbols. In 2023, young designers prepared more than 205 new costumes for the art procession, inspired by the country’s multinational cultural code.

The flag of Russia, like a ribbon of time, stretches through the centuries — at the Festival it stretched across the entire territory of the Tavrida.ART youth and educational resort. The starting point of the trip was the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries, a year-round educational center that opened its doors in May this year, and one of the leading platforms in Russia for creating projects in the field of creative industries. The art procession was opened by the performance of talented musicians of the art cluster ANOFRIEV and Natali Ka.

To be honest, I’m just amazed at this scale. I think that such events as an art procession bring together a huge number of people. We are getting closer and begin to understand why we love our country, how many talented and creative youth it has, how many opportunities. After all, we are culture, we are the future. I am proud of my country, its history, writers, scientists, musicians. I would also like to leave a mark in musical history— says Ilya Anopriev (ANOFRIEV).

And most importantly, there are all the opportunities thanks to such projects. At the same time, it doesn’t matter what part of the country you are from, but it is not small here. With such support, you can only move mountains. I sincerely envy those who have not been here yet, but are only going to come.— shared Natalia Kalyuzhnaya (Natali Ka).

At the anniversary festival, the route of the art procession expanded: the festive columns passed through the Raketa beach, the iconic art objects Sun, Vremya and Assol, and then through the central point of the art cluster — Krug — and the participants ended up at the Main Stage. The total length of the route was about 3 kilometers.

During the carnival, new participants and spectators joined the creative movement to the sounds of DJ sets from the platforms. During the art procession, they were met by street theater artists in their brightest and most festive roles. The art procession ended no less symbolically: the young creators of «Tavrida» performed the anthem of the Russian Federation on the Main Stage of the Festival of Young Art «Tavrida.ART».
