More than 10 thousand people in 3 days in Simferopol visited Victory train

Krympress reports:

“Victory train” is a unique mobile installation that stopped in Crimea from March 16 to 18. In the first day of the Victory train, more than two thousand people visited. There are so many people who want to visit the museum on wheels in Simferopol that all tickets were sold in 20 minutes. Now the Republic of Crimea is being worked out by the possibility of additional return of the Victory Train to the region.

The installation introduces residents and guests of Crimea to the history of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Inside the train there are thematic exhibitions, photographs and documents telling about the heroism of Soviet citizens at the front and in the rear, about the most important battles and heroes of war.

As part of the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the “Victory train” was visited by fighters of Russian student detachments.

More than 500 people are already being prepared for the republican patriotic action “The Landing of Victory” as part of the All -Russian Patriotic campaign “We will worship the Great of those years”. So, from March 22 to 30 in Crimea, the Victory landing will be held for the seventh time and will be aimed at improving the monuments of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, providing assistance to people of advanced age, conducting open lessons of courage in schools, popularizing volunteering and propaganda of labor activity among school and student youth.

In anticipation of the «landing of Victory» for the Stadotyadovites of Crimea, it is especially important to plunge into the atmosphere of the time of the Great Patriotic War. A visit to the Victory train helps youth more deeply to understand the significance of those events and inspires an active part in the upcoming action to preserve the memory of the heroes who defended our freedom.

Crimean studies participate in various projects aimed at preserving the Crimea cultural and historical heritage. A visit to the Victory train was the opportunity to contact us with a living story, to understand how much a peaceful life was won. The story reminds us that the heroes of the past continue to live in the hearts of people, and our duty is to remember and instill in future generations respect for their feat. The work that will be carried out within the framework of the «landing of Victory» will become our contribution to the preservation of historical memory, — shared Daria Yaremchuk, commissar of the headquarters of student detachments of the Crimean Federal University. V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Regional Branch of the Republic of North Ossetia.

I am proud that my great -grandfather during the Great Patriotic War was a driver, carried out transportation of military equipment and shells on the front line. Thus, he contributed to the great victory of our people, and I will always remember this. When I found out that the Victory train would stop in Simferopol, I immediately decided that I had to visit it. This is a tribute of respect not only to my great -grandfather, but also to all those who brought our victory, passing through all the horrors of war and giving our lives to live under a peaceful sky now, — said Alina Tyschenko, a fighter of the Student Service Detachment «Nova» of the Crimean regional branch of the North Ossetia.
