More than 15.9 thousand non-working pensioners of Sevastopol receive a federal social supplement to their pensions

The Federal Social Surcharge (FSD) is assigned by the Sevastopol Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation to non-working pensioners automatically from 2022 year, — simultaneously with the establishment of a pension. The right to FSD arises if the total amount of material support (total income) of a non-working pensioner does not reach the subsistence level of a pensioner in the region of residence.

The total income of a pensioner means the total amount of payments: pensions (parts of the pension), monthly cash payments (with a set of social services) to federal beneficiaries, additional monthly material security, etc., as well as the amount of social support measures through local social protection authorities (free travel in Sevastopol public transport using the EGKS card, payments to labor veterans, home front workers, etc.).

With the help of an additional payment to the subsistence level of a pensioner, which in Sevastopol for a year is 11 970 rub., .not the amount of the pension, but the total income.

Important! The payment of the FSD is suspended for the duration of the work of the pensioner. The exception is the FSD payments to pensions for children who are disabled since childhood, studying full-time in basic educational programs, during the period of their temporary employment in the direction of the state employment service in their free time and periods of participation in public works in the direction of the state employment service.

The payment of the FSD is resumed after the dismissal of the pensioner from the 1st day of the month following the month in which the citizen quits his job. That is, after the dismissal of a pensioner from the place of work, the PFR automatically recalculates the pension based on the data received from the employer. You do not need to contact the PFR customer service.

Today, 15942 residents of the city receive FSD for pensions, the average amount of the supplement is 2723, 17 rubles
