More than 150 Sevastopol entrepreneurs receive maternity and hospital payments from the Department of SFR

In Sevastopol, 152 individual entrepreneurs, transferring contributions to social insurance, issued paid sick leave and payments in connection with motherhood since the beginning of 2025. For these purposes, the department of the social fund of Russia in Sevastopol transferred 9.8 million rubles.
Entrepreneurs, members of peasant (farm) farms, lawyers, notaries, arbitration managers and other persons engaged in private practice are subject to insurance in case of temporary disability and in connection with motherhood. They can voluntarily enter into legal relations on compulsory social insurance and pay contributions for these purposes to the regional branch of the SFR.
Individual entrepreneurs should take care of the possibility of obtaining benefits in advance. In order to receive the right to pay for the sick leave next year, it is necessary to pay contributions until December 31 of this year. The cost of the insurance year in 2025 is 7,809.12 rubles.
The size of the temporary disability and maternity allowances are calculated based on the minimum wage (minimum wage). The date of the occurrence of the insured event for the appointment of pregnancy payments is the date of the opening of the sick leave, and not the date of the birth itself. The entrepreneur has the right in 2025 to receive maternity payments if he paid a voluntary fee in 2024.
